NEFOC’s work is focused on increasing land access and ownership for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) farmers in New England and Upstate New York. The organization serves an informal alliance of more than 600 BIPOC farmers and land stewards serving to relate with the land in a sacred manner that honors our ancestors' dreams – for regenerative farming, sustainable human habitat, ceremony, native ecosystem restoration, climate healing, and cultural preservation.
The report embodies an artistic, imaginative, and expressive design including bold color and custom illustrations across different spreads. Isidor Studio led the overall graphic design, working closely alongside illustrator Zulay Holland. The illustrative elements include a full-color poster evoking an imaginative future of NEFOC’s mission, a series of graphics for each of NEFOC’s program areas, and additional detailing incorporated throughout the design.
The report was designed and published in both English and Spanish, reflecting the organization's commitment to accessibility across multilingual audiences.
