Broad Green Futures

Isidor Studio partnered with Broad Community Connections on Broad Green Futures, a community-driven public art and climate resilience initiative along New Orleans’ Broad Street corridor. Central to the project is a large-scale collage designed by our studio, which layers community culture, historical memory, and visions of green infrastructure into a single narrative image. This work has been translated into seven permanent public installations across Broad Street, creating a visual thread that connects past, present, and future while anchoring the corridor as a space for collective imagination and resilience.

In addition to the physical installations, Isidor Studio designed the Broad Green Futures website and community resource directory, tools that extend the initiative’s reach by highlighting local organizations and providing accessible pathways for residents to engage with climate preparedness and adaptation. Together, the public art and digital tools work in tandem to honor Broad Street’s history while equipping the community with resources to build a more sustainable future.
