Isidor Studio collaborated with the Broad Community Connections in New Orleans to redesign their website to support increased content generation and resource sharing. The new site, launched in summer 2021, highlights the organization's mission and initiatives while featuring a blog for news, business profiles, and other updates. A fund page supports local businesses to access hurricane relief resources, including an integrated form to apply for the funding.
The pastel palette on dark background seeks to communicate a bold mission with a touch of softness. Other touches include place-based design elements such as a background map texture of New Orleans.
Preserving African American Places seeks to understand the implications of place-based injustice and their impact on the preservation of African American cultural heritage, as well as to identify preservation-based strategies for equitable growth and development that respect the historical and present-day realties and conditions of African American Neighborhoods.
